How to Complete the Design Template and Information Sheet

  1. Access the Design Template and Information Sheet 

    • Click on the Design Template and Information Sheet. 

    • Open the relevant section in your system or document where these files are located.

  2. View the Design Checklist and Variables

    • Once opened, you will see the design checklist and the list of variables.
  3. Document Template Name

    • The first field will ask for the name of the document template.
    • Enter the name of the document, e.g., "Sample Template Filpass."

 

 4. Complete the Design Checklist

 Under "Design Checklist," there are questions that you need to answer.

 [Check] the questions and [enter] your answers in the "Answer" fields.

 

5. Document Size

  • Scroll down to find the "Document Size" section.
  • Answer the question "What is the size of the document?" by entering the size in the provided space.

6. Links

  • Find the "Links" section.
  • Fill in the Google Drive link and the company design guide link in the respective fields under "ANSWER."

7. List of Variables

  • Review the list of required variables, including: 

  • Certificate Printed Name 
    QR Code 
    Credential ID 
    Event Title 
    Event Date 
    SO Number 
    SO Date 
    Event Location 
    Course 
    Training Hours 
    Role 
    Certificate Number 
    License Number 
    Reminder: These names will appear as Excel headers in the template. 

 

 

 

8. Required Variables

  • Indicate if each variable is required by selecting "Yes" or "No" under the Required? column. 

9. Variable Format

  • Specify the format for each variable under the Format column (e.g., Text, QR, Date, Number). 

10. Example Value & Display Format

  • Provide an example value for each variable. 

  • Example: Certificate Printed Name → "JOHN DOE" 

  • Define the display format (e.g., ALL CAPS, lowercase, Title Case). 

 

 

    11. Allow 2 Lines

    • Specify if two lines are allowed by selecting in the Allow two 2 lines tableand select "Yes" or "No". 



    Additional Variables

    • If additional variables are needed, list them under this section. 

     

    1. Course Names Using This Template

      • List any course names that will use this template under List of Course Names. 

    2. Different Signatory

      • Answer: "Does this design have a different signatory?" (Yes/No). 

      • If "Yes", provide the high-resolution signature file: 

      • Insert the file/folder link. 

      • Alternatively, mention if you have emailed the file (e.g., "I have emailed it over."). 


      Example:

      • If you emailed it, you might write "I have emailed it over."

    Note: You do not need to fill out the CS Team Recordsection.
